It is with extreme pleasure that we announce that the Change of Use Permit to change the House of Lebanon building from a commercial office to a Cultural Center has been approved. On Thursday, July 16, 2015 Joe Karaki, Ferris Wehbe and Camille Zeitouny attended the final meeting with the Los Angeles City Planning Department and received the approval. Our sincere thanks to Joe, Ferris, Camille and all those involved in successfully completing this important step on the road to our remodel.
The House of Lebanon is located on Wilshire Boulevard in the mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. We are 1 mile east of La Brea Boulevard and 1 mile west of Crenshaw Boulevard North of the 10 Freeway and South of the 101 Freeway. Parking is FREE at the House of Lebanon. Parking is available under the building. The entrance is off of Tremaine Street. No overnight parking is allowed. NOTE: Street parking is available on surrounding streets, however check the parking restrictions. There is no parking allowed on Wilshire Boulevard.
The House of Lebanon can be accessed by traveling on Metro Local 20 which stops immediately in front of the building on Wilshire Boulevard. For other routes, please visit the Metro LA website for bus schedules.
